Greg is a professional actor, composer, sound designer, arranger and music producer with considerable experience of teaching, coaching and development of performance skills. You can be assured therefore that when you are working with Greg in the Dungeon Recording Studio you are working with an industry expert.

When you work with Greg you are working with a professional who is still actively working in the music and acting industry and as such the studio only operates at certain times during the year.

Brought up in Wigan, Greg was a student at Winstanley College, a member of the award winning Wigan Young People’s Theatre and had played, conducted and composed for championship-winning brass bands and ensembles by the age of 18 when he went to Goldsmith’s College, University of London to study composition with Edward Gregson, Stanley Glasser and Melanie Daiken. His music has always drawn upon and combined global, historical and contemporary influences, traditions and cultures freely.

During 13 years in London, Greg enjoyed a varied career in commercial radio, live music, media, marketing, events management, returning to the North West in 1994 to launch Jazz FM and shortly afterwards his own music studio. Greg returned to acting at the age of 40 and has since worked regularly as a professional actor and musician on stage and screen. In 2013 he studied an MA in acting at Arts Ed in London.



Since becoming an actor in his 40's Greg has toured the UK extensively performing work ranging from Shakespeare and Brecht through to new writing such as the musical 'Dolly', which was about the world famous cloning of Dolly the Sheep. His stage and screen credits have seen him working alongside film icons including Kevin Costner, Bill Paxton, Tom Berenger, Powers Boothe and Anne Archer and with UK actors such as Brenda Blethin in Vera, Bradley Walsh in Law & Order UK and appearances as the character 'Jonnie' in Coronation Street.

‘The Shadowmaster’ at the Kings Head Theatre, ‘Spring Awakening’ at the Courtyard Theatre, Dorothy’s Friends (The Musical) in London West End and Edinburgh Festival 2002 (Fruits of the Womb Theatre Company). MD for various concerts and live performances including NW Concert for Kosovo, MD of Trinity Girls Band,. Music for Wigan Pier Theatre Company ‘The Way We Were’.

Sound design credits include:

UK tour of The African Company Presents Richard III written by Carlyle Brown and directed by Chuck Mike now transferred to the US; Grand Slam at Kings Head Theatre, London; the Fear installation at the Urbis Museum in Manchester, public address idents for the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, The Diary of Anne Frank, Beauty Queen of Leenane, The Corn is Green, Brassed Off and ‘The Way We Were’.
